As a consultant, Gollnow served as certified services auditor in the telecommunications industries for central Europe and the Middle East, as well as FDI development for the Canton and State of Geneva (responsible for Germany and Eastern Europe). As European Services Operations Manager for Digital Equipment Corporation in Geneva, he was responsible for the IT service operation in seventeen countries. During his time at Digital Equipment, Gollnow founded the Swiss chapter of the USA based Association for Service Management International (AFSMI). Gollnow is certified as an Informatic Engineer and holds the MBA for service operation.
