THE SPEED OF CHANGE

The Speed of Change is a short documentary film produced by the Global Health Equity Foundation (GHEF) in collaboration with filmmaker Felix Heinzelmann. Developed through field research, moderated dialogue, and expert insight, the film captures how accelerating technological, social, and economic changes are reshaping our relationship to work — and deepening the divide between generations.

Rooted in GHEF’s Connecting Cultures programs, The Speed of Change invites viewers into intergenerational conversations that highlight the lived experience of transformation. It is designed as a practical and research-based educational tool to be used in schools, community spaces, and public health settings.

By sharing personal stories and facilitating reflection, the film fosters empathy, challenges assumptions, and encourages us to rethink how we define purpose, productivity, and value in an era of constant change.

Being Expressive Being

GHEF’s Trauma Literacy Workshops in Zurich, led by dramaturg Yara Bou Nassar and clinical psychologist Dr. Celestin Mutuyimana, empower adolescents to understand trauma through creative exploration of language and the body. Addressing issues like loneliness, belonging, and bullying, the program combines live performance, short films, and guided discussions to reduce stigma, encourage early recognition, and build resilience. Designed to be adaptable worldwide, these workshops lay the groundwork for healthier, more connected communities.
